Atlanta area artists J-Mood are a superb group of classic jazz players specializing in styles of the 40s, 50s and 60s. The core band consists of keyboard wizard and producer John Carrozza, seasoned bassist Joe Reda, veteran percussionist Jon Chalden and vocal siren Jennifer Carrozza.

Mr. Carrozza relocated to Atlanta from Florida in 1992 to work as a musician, producer and arranger for Twelve Oaks Studios. He has released a solo album called "Worship Without Words", recorded a feature piano part on Boyz II Men's platinum album, "Evolution" and worked with Grammy winning guitar phenom Earl Klugh.

Chicago native, Joe Reda, is at home playing funky electric bass or swinging an upright. He is a graduate of Millikin University and has studied at Chicago's Bloom School of Jazz. Mr. Reda currently works with numerous jazz artists in Atlanta including, to name a few, J-Mood, The Ruperts Orchestra, and the Jennifer Hanson Quartet.

Jon Chalden cut his teeth playing in various Midwest rock and R&B bands. While a first call session player in St. Louis, Mr. Chalden performed with Chuck Berry and organist Richard Groove Holmes, among others. In the mid-90s, he toured the US and Canada with A&M recording artist Cheryl Crow on the heels of her break through album, "Tuesday Night Music Club".

Jennifer Carrozza has been performing since she was a small child. After more than 15 years of classical voice training, Mrs. Carrozza became a full-time professional vocalist in 1997. She has released three solo projects, most recently "Rust & Velvet" and performs with J-Mood.

All of the members of J-Mood are active in the North Atlanta church scene including North Point Community, Buckhead Community and North Star Community Church among others.
